Play Drakonym

Drakonym is a cinematic fantasy TTRPG about heroes who bond with living dragons. Choose from the eight Dragon Families and grow your bond from Hatchling to Mythic. Dragons are companions of spirit and story, not pets, and their traits evolve with your choices and trust.

You play in Akeroth, a world of light and shadow where every roll weighs hope against consequence. Build dice pools from six core Attributes and roll the d12 Shadow Die to reveal twists and costs as the story unfolds. Wounds escalate through clear tracks instead of hit points, so every blow matters.

The venue

We’ll be taking over the Arcanists Tavern in Shoreditch: a tabletop gaming cafe with immersive fantasy decor, custom-built gaming tables and themed drinks.

Your £40 ticket includes

  • Learn to Play Drakonym sessions run by Moonshine’s professional and inclusive GMs

  • Live music and comedy from Spiritually Elsewhere and It’s Your Role

  • Pizza and a drinks token

Live entertainment

It’s Your Role

This troupe of professional actors and improvisers will try to handle their own Drakonym dragons live on stage at 8.45pm. But there’s a twist – one lucky audience member will be cast into the adventuring party live on stage.

Direct from performing Off-West End, as well as having recently performed at World's Lair alongside Oxventure and Dark Dice, It's Your Role will close the event with their signature brand of raucous fantasy adventure.

Please note that It’s Your Role’s evening performance will have limited seating, and seats will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Standing room will also be available.

Spiritually Elsewhere

Bard and storyteller Spiritually Elsewhere will be regaling adventurers throughout the day, recounting tales from across many kingdoms and lands. Their songs focus on existential and sometimes humorous themes told through the style of a wandering fantasy minstrel.

Game Masters

Guiding the fledgling Dragon Riders will be…

Pip Gladwin (He/Him)

Jess Mitchell (She/Her)

Adam Taylor (He/Him)
